"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Gibberish

Clarke has been working on the code for my website....which she is building from scratch for her independent study. She's creating the HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and the CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) which to me, look and sound like a bunch of gibberish. It's quite an involved process...and it's been fascinating to watch.

This is a screen shot of Clarke's computer screen.

It's still a work in progress but so far so good. We tried all kinds of images for the background...and for now have landed on this photo of a piece of my fabric.  I like the stripes and how the colors relate to the paper tubes.

This is a screen shot of the draft of the homepage.  It will be a little while before it's an active site...we both have things we need to work on.
