"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

A Little Background

I have been a crafter for a long as I can remember.  My mother always had creative magazines and supplies around the house and my grandmother kept used greeting cards in a box in her drafty (and kind of creepy, actually) upstairs. I remember spending hours flipping through the magazines for ideas for a new project and examining the cards for just the right ones to cut up for parts.  I was taught to work hard and think creatively...and I am grateful.

I have been collecting supplies most of my life.  I was the mom who had everything on the list when my boys came home from school with a supply list for a class project.  To this day I beg my friends to ask me before they buy an art supply because I probably have what they need and I love to share.

    1. Thank you so much for your comments....I love hearing from people. This really got me thinking about my title...which I love, by the way...so I just wrote a post about it. I hope it answers your question.. It's called "what's in a name?" http://joyfulputtering.blogspot.com/2016/07/whats-in-name_31.html
