Really Looked

I generally just disregard purple hosta blooms cutting them off before they're even in full bloom. They just seem messy.  

But today I really looked at this variegated bloom from one of my minis....it's actually quite lovely. Who knew?






I played around a bit this afternoon with some of the the hand dyed fabrics. I fused several strips together then sliced, shifted and refused.  The concept is good....but I'm going to keep playing around with it. I'm not sure about the fabric choices.  I'm in this figuring out mode....and I just have to fiddle.

It does need some top stitching.  Stitching helps everything.
