I'm happy to report our Hancock Church project group reached our goal of making 100 school bags....101 to be exact for Church World Service. Now it's up to us and the congregation to fill them. This modest little assortment of school supplies will be distributed to "children in impoverished schools, refugee camps, or other difficult settings" and will likely bring a lot of joy. If anyone is interested in contributing...I'll do the shopping.
