Foam Flower

Foam Flower is one of my very favorite perennials. It loves the shade...which I have a plenty of...the bloom is so dainty and pretty....and the leaves are so special!

I split my plant last fall so have it in a couple gardens...and it's all thriving!
Once the blooms are gone...the foliage will be lovely all seaason.

    1. Thanks Dotty. Yesterday was an odd day for me....so celebrating the foam flower was just the bit of joy I needed.

  2. Oh my, another new to me plant to research for my shade garden. It’s so delicate with really pretty foliage. Glad it’s doing well for you. Weather has finally improved (wind) so tomorrow will be an outdoor day. Enjoy yours.

  3. I'm not a gardener but I do like this shade loving plant with its pretty leaves. We have a lot of shade also. When would you plant this, MaryAnn? I'm taking note of this - thanks for sharing!

    1. This is a loyal shade plant. If it's from nursery it can be planted anytime. It blooms in the spring but the foliage is pretty all season long. And that's important to me when it comes to perennials.
