I did an experiment today...starting with a bunch of green scraps from my snippets that I sewed together.

I also used this altered photo of the Portland skyline taken from South Portland near my house. I turned the photo into a watercolor using the "Waterlogue" app on my iPad. Kind of cheating...but it's a useful art tool.
I'll share the finished product tomorrow.
