Joyful Mothering

It doesn't matter what creative or joyful thing I was going to write about today because this text from my son Sam totally beats out everything else.

Sam and his roommate are in the middle of a porch makeover and it makes me smile from ear to ear knowing this is the rug he chose....and that he took the time to share it with me because he knew it would make me happy.
