First Frosts

These first frosts always capture my attention...and my heart. Once I tune into them...I can't stop looking.

It doesn't come across in the photo...but the little blue and green lawnmower was covered in a layer of shimmering frost. It made me smile.

I love these ordinary moments...when a walk turns into a journey of noticing. When something as simple as glistening frost on a child's toy seems extra special.

May it always be so.

  1. I just loved seeing your "frosty" photos, MaryAnn;))) Frost makes magic of everyday items, doesn't it? What a treat--so far we've not gotten any frost here by the seaside; the still pretty warm ocean is keeping us just above that 32 degrees overnight....
I do love Autumn and our trees have finally begin to show off with some deep reds and oranges...peak by next weekend--What a yearly miracle that is!!

    1. Thanks Julierose! It's fun that there is a wave of color and frosts across the country. A yearly miracle everywhere when the time is right!
