I finished a fabulous puzzle today...called Vintage Library. I've done it before...and I know I'll do it again.
I left just enough pieces yesterday to finish during breakfast. It's always nice when you can start the day finishing something. I'm not sure there was anything else all day long I actually finished.I enjoy puzzles with foil accents.
There are some great titles...and some seem like they are real books. But most of them seems to be a play on words. Who knows!
Here are a few fun ones:
Breakfast Epiphanies
Brave New Squirrell
Finding Magic in the Mundane
The Evil Twin Defense
The Perpetual Optimist
And I love one of the last title I put together this morning.
Kismet, Coincidence & Happenstance
The Daydreamer's Library
The Daydreamer's Library
It's nice when a puzzle is engaging...and entertaining.

I found it engaging and entertaining to appreciate the differing depicted book bindings and the quirky titles. Any indication on the box about whether the titles are real or fabricated?
ReplyDeleteAnd I concur: nothin' better than starting a day finishing something!
Wondering minds think alike....I wondered too. There was nothing on the box. On the Gallison site they say: "old books spines that Phat Dog Vintage has collected from their travels." I googled some of them....and some were actual titles and many were not. I'm letting the mystery be....it was engaging and entertaining!
DeletePuzzle making seems like a calming and fun hobby. My husband always has one going, and enjoys working on it just before dinner every night. I love the imaginative titles of these books and the colors. How nice to start your day finishing something!!
ReplyDeleteGood to know there are puzzles on the table at your house too. (You may have told me that before.) Now I feel connected to your husband.
DeleteThe colors in this puzzle were scrumptious!
