"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Hard to Stop

Today felt like summer....but it's hard to stop celebrating the spring tulips!

Paul and I are excited that the woods is finally starting to leaf out.....we will appreciate help with the shade in the late afternoon sun.  The birds are excited too....we had quite a show during happy hour today. This little hummingbird sat there in the tree for several minutes. They've emptied the feeders a couple of times...and I should be able to plant my hummingbird flowers soon. They'll be happy all summer.

  2. Delightful. Love, love hummingbirds. Which flowers do you plant for them? We’re having a cloudy WINDY spell.

    1. I love them too! I plant a couple kinds of salvia and my favorite is Vermillionalre...also called Firecracker Plant. I've also seen it called Hummingbird's lunch.
