"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Pride Parade

Our ministers....Paul and Barbara
Today Paul and I joined more than 30 Hancock Church members and marched in the Boston Pride Parade. It's a colorful, joyful, and important event.

It started with a pride service at Old South Church where we had the privilege hearing our beloved Senator Elizabeth Warren speak.

We had a little rain at the beginning....but it ended up being a lovely day to walk through the streets of Boston.

  1. This made me smile. In light of Orlando and all the hate your post made me happy to see.

    1. It was a joyful celebratory day...... then that evening the tragedy in Orlando was quite sobering. I'm glad this post made you smile....we need to keep smiling and celebrating our diversity.
