"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Follow-up

Melodee thinks my unwanted guest from yesterday's post is a rabbit and Linda thinks groundhog.  hmmmmm  Since I haven't seen any groundhogs in my yard I'm guessing rabbit...I know I have lots of them.

On a more positive note...I'm pretty excited about the first rain lily bud in the pot that I moved to the front stoop in Lexington!
These blooms were from the first year I planted the bulbs....kind of funny looking without foliage.  I ended up with lots of foliage that year but only one more bloom that fall.  It just reminds me that this year I'll have to practice patience.
