Sometimes Community looks like this!
There was a delay in some of the cards because of Margie's address change...so everyday there are a few more in our mailbox. Paul and I are touched by every single one.And a few got scattered here and there in all the hustle and bustle....so every single one may not be here in this photo. But what a colorful representation of a caring community from coast to coast and across the Atlantic.
Thank you for this outpouring of love!
I'm feeling heartfelt Joy!
What a great idea to pull this community of caring cards and art together for a photo shoot, MaryAnn! I am so touched seeing this outpouring of love, knowing that it found its way unstoppably to Margie, shining light in all directions during some otherwise dark days.
ReplyDeleteI thought so....I was compelled to do this yesterday. It's almost like a neighborhood.....and I can see from my Informed Delivery that more people are moving in even today. More cards will be in our box!
DeleteI am struck by the marvelous diversity in the cards. Each and everyone is different, some hand-painted, some photographs, some for her birthday, some get well, some flowers, some baseball, some humorous, all filled to the brim with love for her, and embracing you and Paul and your sons with sympathy at her loss. What a beautiful gift you created, MaryAnn!
ReplyDeleteYes! The cards represent the uniqueness and talents of so many different people and the wide range of actual events that occured. Thank you for recognizing the "marvelous diversity" Ann!
