"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Spring Caper

A week or so ago Anne stopped in for some fabric. She was away from her own stash and knows she's welcome to anything that I have! So is anyone else...by the way.

I was so tickled to get these photos of the flowers she made from the fabric.

She was back home in Deer Isle and ready to head out for her spring caper!

Anne is a avid walker....and she is placing these flowers along her walking paths to welcome spring...and brighten the day for anyone else using the trails.

I'm guessing people are welcome to pick them up...but I also know she will eventually retrieve them if they're any left. How fun is this spring caper!
And how fun is this early homemade birthday card that came all the way from Sue in Scotland! It features a spectacular woven basket filled with spring blooms.

Just what I needed today! Thank you Sue!

We finally had a beautiful spring day today...and look what I found in the neighborhood. They match the card!

    1. Yes it does Judy! I'll have to have Anne teach me how to make the fabric flowers....they are a lot of fun! Wouldn't it be fun to stumble on one on a walk!
