It's not just about creativity, it's about the person you're becoming while you're creating. Charlie Peacock
We're expecting 6 to 8 more inches of snow with high winds tomorrow. I actually don't mind because I have so many inside things to keep me joyfully puttering...even if the power goes out.
Aren't these papers going to make a beautiful book! It's such a pretty color scheme and I'm so glad Susan included one of her own cyanotypes.
They traveled all the way from Scotland....and I'm excited to turn them into a joy journal for Susan. And it will be fun to figure out how to use the stitchy bits. But these pretty papers will have to wait patiently in line....I have some other journals to finish first!
But it's fun having them in the wings!

You've got terrific fodder for joyful indoor puttering, MaryAnn! Perfect for whatever comes tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWe hear forecasts that include such things as 1-2 FEET of snow and wind gusts up to 70 mph here in our neck of the woods. Guess we'll find out! In the interim, several of my Landmark School colleagues and I from way back in the day have been reminiscing today about the blizzard of '78 which we were smack in the middle of.
Wow...I did see that you all might get hammered! Our predicted snow totals have gone down...but we're still going to get the big wind! These storms do make us think back on other big storms....reminding us that we'll get through it!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to receive international papers! And indeed they are beautiful. We are immersed in snow - windows and window screens covered in ice and snow and snow blowing sideways outside. A good day to be creative. Happy joy journal making!! Judy
ReplyDeleteIndeed! It's snowing here too...but we're not going to get as much as you. Big wind...and the snow is blowing sideways....looks blustery! And yes...a good day to be puttering inside. That's just what I'm doing!
