I got saved by the beauty of the world. Mary Oliver
I couldn't help but celebrate the intense color and lines in this cabbage leaf when I held it up to the light! It's abstract light!
And I was equally delighted with the abstract sunlight shimmering on this puddle. We reached 60 degrees today...and we finally have some serious melting! Here's a few other puddle shots I loved!
This first one is the reflection of the seed pods on our sycamore tree.
60 degrees AND blue sky blue sky reflecting in this puddle!
It was a good day to be outside!

As e.e. cummings so aptly puts it, the world is puddle-wonderful! And you've made the most of it by capturing photos of the magic of puddle reflections, MaryAnn! And the GREEN and LIGHT in that cabbage leaf. WOW!
ReplyDeletePuddle-wonderful! I love it! Puddles mean spring is coming!
DeleteWonderful photos, MaryAnn! It was warm here too today, and it is so nice to see some patches of grass showing. And the photo of your sycamore tree made me smile as I remembered the one in our back yard when I was a kid, with seed pods plopping down on our heads when we sat under it! And by the way, I left a comment on your previous post just now and forgot to leave my name! Again!! 😊
ReplyDeleteI thought that was you on that post! :) Yes....we do love the melting! And how fun that you have memories of sitting under a sycamore tree! Thanks Judy!
