"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Blues to Purples

Positive people are not ignoring the darkness of this world, they have dragged themselves into the light and are sharing it with you. Donna Ashworth

I'm moving from the blues to the purples in my minerals puzzle....I do a little bit every day.

The same is true with my rainbow stencil doodle concertina.....I'm moving from the blues to the purples. This has been a fun project for little bursts of time here and there.

Here are a few closeups.....I'm totally enjoying the mixed media approach.

  1. MaryAnn, such fun to watch the color spread gradually across the pages of your rainbow stencil doodle concertina as you find little bursts of time here and there. The mixed media nature of this concertina is terrific—thanks for the closeups where I can indulge in I-spy exploration, looking at the variety of ways you are putting color to this book. Also, I love that the color progression of your two one-bit-at-a-time ventures is well aligned : )

and I love how your movement from blues to purples is playing out in more than one little-bit-at-a-time project!

    1. Thanks for cheering me on Dotty! It may not be masterpiece...but it's been fun just playing around and a good way to unplug from all the madness for a few minutes here and there.
