"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Chickens

Some days it's all about the chickens.

All the chicken shaped pieces are placed in Patsy's wooden puzzle I borrowed. And the browns have been easier than I thought because....

....it's all about the shapes.

And I also have the whole border together too. Simple joys!
Do you see where several pieces came together to form a butterfly on the roof?

  1. MaryAnn, those chickens are SO appealing, and I sit back slack-jawed in wonder at the level of creativity that went into designing this masterpiece puzzles-within-a-puzzle extravaganza.

And, oh! that butterfly in the roof ❤️

    1. Me too! It enhances the experience when i think about the artist who thought this through.

  2. What a delightful puzzle! The little shapes are so endearing and must be a joy to discover! I also loved the little button book you shared in your last post. The colors alone are beautiful and the book is very clever. I am always inspired by your "makes"! Oops, this is Judy Hartman! ☺️

    1. Thank you Judy for participating in my delight in the puzzle. "Endearing" is the right word for some of the pieces!

And thanks for the thumbs up on my little art book with the button closure. Making....right along with puzzling are good for the soul right now!
