"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Syncronicity

Carl Jung introduced the concept of synchronicity He believed that synchronistic events are not simply random occurrences, but rather manifestations of a deeper order in the universe.

I stocked up on salad veggies at Winslow Farm this morning and fell in love with these funky ombre carrots. Some of them were joined at the hip.

Then when I cut into one...I loved them even more. It's a big bonus when your food is beautiful!

There was a moment of synchronicity a week ago when at the same time I was working on Genine's bird puzzle......

....she was working on a new version of the same art piece. I've had this puzzle for years and years...and picked this particular time frame to work on it.

Then the exact day she posted her finished art piece....

I finished her puzzle. There is order in the universe!
I'm starting to sort the next one...and I am very excited about it!

  1. Love the puzzle- and the art piece- but- BUT- I love the Pink Panther vignette! A chair, end table, TRex, and Jesus! What else do you need? :):):)

    1. T.Rex, Jesus and the Pink Panther have been there ever since you told me about your TRex and Oyl! This odd little group makes me smile every day....and most day I don't need much more!
