"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Tickled Pink

 Paul found another ball....

and The Pink Panther is tickled pink with it! I may never get it back!

I thought I'd share a couple spreads in Tracie's altered art journal...it's been where some of my creative energy is going. I have so much fun with these...and this one is almost done!

Just a reminder that I'm just adding bits of color and inspiration to this journal (almost all from Tracie) that will be starting off places for more art and play.

This spread made me happy. The paper on the left was from Tracie's stash...as was the cat painting with the adorable red nose. The page underneath the cat is from a print I made using an old kaleidoscope program I had. I have no memory of what the photo was of...but I thought the colors coordinate well with Tracie's paper really well...and and the circular medallions were a nod to the red nose!

I was running low on Tracie's art papers to fill up the book...so after consulting with her decided to use some papers/artwork from the rest of our art group. The coloring on the left is Becky's...and the three layered pages on the right are some special handmade papers that Brenda shared with all of us.

I cut out an extra little daisy flower for the next page. This is the closest I'll come to adding more to the pages. That's for Tracie!

I love the way this last page lands.
Nothing but potential!

Isn't this puzzle fabulous!
It went together like a dream and was enJOYable!

Is there anything else that you take apart almost the minute you finally get it together?  Really...that's a real question. Is there?

Knowledge comes from taking things apart, but wisdom comes from putting things together. John A. Morrison

Puzzles have both covered!

  1. The ball for the Pink Panther could not be more perfect! I concur, you will never get it back!

That extra little cut-out daisy flower is also perfect, and perfectly situated. Thank you for a few photos of spreads in the altered art journal you are putting together for Tracie. Being a fly on the wall to your creativity and process is such a gift to me.
