"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Looking for More

We had some drizzly rain overnight and this morning...but things seemed dry for the most part when I went for an early afternoon walk. Once I spotted the first set of drops on a leaf by the pond...I couldn't stop looking for more.

There were dozens of leaves that had collected these sparkly water droplets..some large...some teeny tiny. I was smitten.

The wabi-sabi earthy colors....contrasted by the shimmery beads of water filled me with awe. I love when a walk turns into an awe walk.

  2. I look forward to visiting your blog every day, MaryAnn. Would I ever think of looking at drops of rain on tiny leaves? Now I will. Have I thought about needle felting lately? No, but now I can't wait to do it again. Thanks for all the ideas, joy and inspiration you share!!

The light was just right to notice that first leaf....that's all it took! I was hooked!
