Isn't it fun when simple things surprise you.
Paul and I are part of a team picking up a couple of students at a local Middle School and getting them home safely....and we are delighting in our conversations with these interesting young people.
While we were waiting yesterday afternoon it was lightly raining and I happen to notice raindrops beading up on a shiny black car in the parking lot.
I was compelled to take a closer look and snapped a few quick photos....because that's what I do. Snap now...assess later. I didn't realize until I uploaded the photos that I captured the reflection of my iphone on one of the photos.A BIG THANK YOU to the journal recipients who sent me up and beyond the money for postage. I was able to shop for Maine Needs today and purchased three bath towels, a set of queen size sheets and 20+ pairs of underwear.
Cherie's journal is in the mail...and I will start Debbie C's in a few days. Her papers are on on a tray in the dining room calling to me everytime I walk by.

Yay, for purchases for Maine Needs! I’m excited to open the mail box and find my journal!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you to get it too! It had me puzzled...but it's one of my favorites! Tracking says Monday....we'll see.
DeleteThat montage of water droplets on a car exterior is captivating, MaryAnn. Noticing can't be beat!
ReplyDeleteHeartwarming to hear about the relationships developing with the Middle School students to whom you are offering rides and about the bounty you are able to provide for Maine Needs. ❤️
Thanks Dotty! It's all good!
