"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Slow and Steady

I thought this was a fabulous idea...especially given the recent events in the Department of Homeland Security! One can dream!

Let's all spread some kindness and compassion!

I smile when I sit down with my breakfast at my puzzle table
and there are two little piles of pieces I collected the night before.

And before I'm done with my coffee I have have assembled two quilts!
Slow and steady...just the way I like it.

  1. 1. Your Dept. of Homeland Kindness landed beautifully this evening, as I was especially on the alert to notice kindnesses today and to extend kindnesses myself : )

    2. I'm feeling a great sense of satisfaction at seeing those two puzzle quilts completed, and I wasn't even the one who did the completing hahaha!!!

  2. I am enjoying watching your Gees Bend puzzle take shape. I bought a set of Harriet Powers stamps at the post office and thought what a cool puzzle they would make!

    1. I'm enjoying it too Cherie! It goes along pretty quickly...which is nice sometimes. I just looked up the Harriet Powers stamps...and I can see them as a puzzle. That one would be challenging...but I would totally do it! I'm going to have to ask for those stamps next time I go to the post office!
