"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Bloom!

I hate when people accuse me of lollygagging when I'm quite clearly dilly-dallying.

The screens are in the windows....I moved a few perennials around....and the rain lilies are repotted. It was a good morning for fresh air chores. I guess that's actually the opposite of dilly-dallying.

And....the crabapples are starting to bloom in the neighborhood!

These pretty pink blooms are such a delight this time of year!

I'm also still celebrating tulips...this time using fused fabric.
I'm going to try it again...and stitch the word Bloom!

  1. Oh, those crabapple blossoms! And your tulip bloom is just singing with joy at being alive in its season, MaryAnn. I like your idea of STITCHING the word bloom in your next iteration—go for it!
