"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Another Found Object

There is a magnificent row of tulips on one of our regular walking routes. The tulips were so pretty with the leftover raindrops so I took several photos. But this was my favorite!

I'm including the whole row...just because I can.

Do you see it?

Spring is a good time for found objects and something unusual caught my eye in the woods. The tiny bit of bright color popped against the still mostly neutral landscape.
It's a keeper...and a nice addition to my found ball collection.

  1. Wow what gorgeous tulips, highlighted by your fabulous pictures! I do think someone needs to work on their golf swing, tho...;)

    1. Thanks Kathy...yes the tulips were incredible! It was an odd spot for a golf ball! There's no place even close for someone to swing a club!

  2. Such beautiful color! I wonder if the person who planted those tulips realized how much pleasure they would give to others who passed by. And that is a great colorful find in the woods!

    1. I agree Judy...the color is spectacular. I've chatted with the woman before and thanked her for her gardens. There is something new for every season. And I think she partly does it for the walkers and neighbors...so I think she knows how much it's appreciated.
