"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Only This

Sam, Nate and Kelly came for pizza tonight....so that made nine of us. We laughed...played games and shared stories....and I loved every minute!

Flying Edna, Story of the Day
Ayla and I have been playing a game all week where she hides our magnetic Spider man around the first floor of the condo. She constructed a magnet web on one of my metal plant stands and every time I find him I put him back in the web.

This morning I found Spider Man buried under some tiny treats in the living room. Clever spot!

My goddaughter Emily game me a whole set of mini food items several years ago because we share the love of tiny things. Ayla has been playing with them all week with her Barbies.
Here's Spider Man back in his web...waiting to be hidden again.

There is only this: loving your family and helping make everyone feel at home.

The HAHAs take off tomorrow after lunch...onto their next adventure. They have several more layers to go on their vacation.

  1. OMG so much to love and celebrate here! • Thank you for introducing me to Flying Edna (which, who knows, may not be the first time you've done so but today is when I woke up and noticed). • I have participated in the joy of hiding games such as yours and Ayla's, many times—so much fun, and what could be more important than that connection between two people that is at the heart of the game? • And, as for the love of tiny things, yes yes YES! • What a blessing beyond measure for you all to have shared this week!

    1. Lots of celebrating going on! ha ha...I've been posting Flying Edna for quite a while now...but we tune into things when we are ready.

The hiding game is tried and true...good to know it's in your wheelhouse too. I think Ayla and I bonded and I think we will become pen pals from here on out.
