"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Stop and Look Moments

We've had a couple of beautiful spring days so I've enjoyed being outdoors...taking walks....and doing more work in the gardens before more rain comes in a few days.

I came across this Strikingly Pleasing scene on a morning walk with the red barn and wooden fence punctuated by the bright red tulips and white groundcover in the background.

And I thought the lawn filled with violets was quite striking in the foreground. I love these makes me stop and look moments.

And I always have to stop and look at sidewalk chalk art...who doesn't love hopscotch!

I stopped and looked at the tulip patch again. They were opening up wide and so beautiful in the morning light. This particular tulip really stood out with its beautiful color and lines.
