"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Tiny Jesus

Another full and fabulous mostly outside day! Warm enough in the sun...perfectly cool in the shade. Ideal morning for gardening....and a wonderful afternoon for a little downtown adventure with Patty.

Paul found a tiny Jesus this morning....

so he joined us for happy hour.

We thought maybe he might turn a some water into wine....and maybe break a little bread to go with it....but no such luck.

Turns out...he just wanted to watch the birds. Who doesn't!

  1. MaryAnn, I'm back from my travels to TN, back from my travels to VA; we brought granddaughter Caroline back with us from VA for a few days' visit before we put her on an airplane to Iceland,; I"ve celebrated Mother's Day, I've celebrated my birthday, and NOW I am back in place with my usual routines … just in time to greet a tiny found Jesus! I'm happy to watch the birds with you, Paul, and Jesus : )

    1. Welcome home...and welcome back to the sweet smell of your daily routine! There's nothing better than traveling to be with friends and family...and there's nothing like coming home!

    1. Yes....there was that moment of delight! It's not your typical found object. I just love being outside this time of year! And my gardens are getting close to being ready for the season...then I can get back in the studio.
