The white clover continues to bloom in the yard...and I snapped this photo before the mowers came this morning. I have one lone pink clover blossom in the front yard....and it made me smile.
Be the pink clover...and just do you!
And while you're just doing you....you might as well do joy!
Do you see it?
Patty gifted me this sweet wooden joy...and I love it hanging in our tree.
Thank you Pataty for just doing you and sharing a little joy with me.

That lone pink clover blossom is so wonderfully practicing You Do You, to my great delight and joy, and I love seeing that joy expressed in wood and hanging on the tree beside your happy hour patio. PERFECT! Thumbs up, Patty!
ReplyDeleteJoyful abundance....in tiny form. Thanks for celebrating with me!
DeleteEver since I started following your blog I have been more aware of seeking out joy every day. There is something about that photo of clover - something so common, yet so pretty, punctuated by that pink blossom - that makes me smile. Thank you for your daily reminder, MaryAnn, that there is joy to be found in these uncertain times, if we only look for it! Judy
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy! If that's what I've helped you do....then I couldn't be more happy. There is so much joy to be found right outside our front doors. That lone pink clover just sung to me yesterday morning....and I had to share it. And we need all the little joys in these scary and unsettled times.
DeleteI forgot about pink clover until this very moment- thanks for the reminder! I used to pick these as a child and give them to my mother as a bouquet. She'd find a "vase" ( I think it was one of those tiny root beer mugs) and proudly display. Thank you for yet another smiling post.

I absolutely love this story Kathy and I can picture the little root beer mug filled with clover. I have the same memory of a similar vessel filled with lily of the valley that I would take in for my mom. It probably was a jelly jar or something. Thanks for helping me be transported back too!
