I started my day with a walk at Pine Point Beach...it was a spectacular fall day for a beach walk.
Then Paul and I had a fabulous fish chowder lunch and an afternoon of conversation with Kelly and Sam at their apartment. It was an absolute delight. After our local JoAnn Fabric Store closed last summer I wished I would have bought some rainbow tulle. I know that sounds kind of odd...but it was right after the Pride Parade where rainbow tulle was everywhere. I honestly wished I had some!
I guess...wishes really do come true...because look I found a rainbow at a local thrift store!
It was actually part of a child's costume...and this grown up couldn't be more excited about all the potential here.Paul and I went to a neighborhood Halloween Party last evening hosted by Liam, our resident four year old. Costumes were encouraged....and I was inspired by my recent find. So I went as a rainbow....or better yet...I went as JOY!
Thanks for giving us reason to celebrate a little joy Liam!
And this photo made me smile. I was sitting in the dark in the living room last night when we got home...with only the light of my computer screen. Paul snapped this photo as he was passing through.
I was aglow with JOY from the fabulous day!
I learned today the estimated number of protest participants at Deering Oaks Park was 6,000! And I was so impressed with the 7 million number nationwide! There is power in numbers.

MaryAnn! There is power in numbers, especially numbers of people aglow with joy!
ReplyDeleteEven without a rainbow tulle headdress, I am aglow from several days in a row of connecting with others socially : )
Meaningfully connecting with others makes our souls glow!
DeleteOh, yes! Connecting with folks brings me such joy! I love the rainbow tulle.
ReplyDeleteThanks for chiming in Kristin! So glad there are other rainbow tulle lovers....and connection lovers too! We need it all not more than ever!
