My friend and neighbor Patty has been away....so I photographed her garden and sent her this little montage so she could have a little glimpse of home. Her hydrangea is just beautiful right now.
The grass under the NO VACANCY sign (how fun is that sign!) started as a split from my garden...and it's stunning this time of year. Mine inadvertently got cut back early by the grounds people. I was a bit disappointed at first....but I appreciate all of the work that they do. So I used it as an opportunity to divide it again...and I gave splits to two more neighbors. That's got to be a good thing.
I love the hydrangea this time of year as it starts to dry!

Paul has been away too. He's been helping his sister in Colorado after the death of her husband Steve. She just needed her brother and I'm so proud of him for being there for her....it was a good thing for him to do.
He came home late this afternoon......and that too...is a very good thing.

So many good things. So many good things. Yay.
ReplyDeleteI love the fading hydrangea and the ornamental grasses at this time of year.
Welcome home, Paul!
Thanks Dotty! I love everything this time of year!
DeleteHydrangeas - my absolute faves! Yours lasted so long this year. And those shades of pink slay me!
ReplyDeleteI know how much you love hydrangeas Roseanne! I wish these were mine...but they are right down the street...and I can visit them anytime! Yes...those shades of pink are amazing!
