"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Perfect Punctuation Mark

We were out and about most of the day....and it will be a few days before I have time to sort through my photos and process it all. Such beautiful places and spaces!

For today I'll just share how our outing day ended after a late afternoon tour of Patsy's daughter, Alex, and her husband Tim's organic farm. Just as were were leaving there was a full rainbow perfectly framing the end of their driveway. The photo does not do it justice. It felt like it was giving us...and their farm a big hug.

We were able to track it all the way home....and the minute we pulled into Patsy and Brian's driveway...it was gone.

It was the perfect punctuation mark on a fabulous day and a reminder that there is still beauty in our very troubled world.
Oh...and I have to share that Paul and I shared our room with several trays of Kings Early Beans that were drying on the floor.

These same beans have been grown in Patsy's family for 60+ years....the best ones being saved to plant next year...and the rest eaten throughout the winter and spring.
And look what we had for dinner!
Another perfect punctuation mark on a great day!
