"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Traffic Safety

It was a spectacular fall day....so Paul and I took a walk through Evergreen Cemetery. It's a wonderful place to walk because there's no traffic.

We've been so dry...so the colors are a little more muted this year...but still...it did not disappoint.

This was an odd thing to photograph.....but the orange color was right for fall...and the subject matter was spot on. Paul came home from Colorado with this adorable mini traffic cone guy. Clarke, Alyson's daughter, works for the Chicago City Planning department...mainly with traffic safety. Sounds daunting doesn't it.

She gifted one of these to her mom...and one to Steve, Alyson's husband. Alyson sent Steve's home with Paul. We love it...and will think about Steve and Clarke! Win win!

  1. Mini traffic cone guy is TOTALLY adorbs, and he'll have so many friends to play with at your house. Will he play out in the garden with your conehead flowers next summer???

  2. Beautiful fall, and I LOVE the traffic cone! I think he belongs with the Pink Panther group, so they don't fall into your puzzles.
