"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Fan-Fall-Tastic!

You might be getting tired of my puzzle photos....but I'm including this one for a couple of reasons.

1: If you zoom way in you see my warty gourd on the rock wall in the back yard. Yup....that brings me joy.

2: I finished all the white flowers and leaves....all that's left is the ocean.

3: I just like taking photos of this beautiful puzzle....it's that simple.

The mostly white ocean pieces are all ordered in the album boxes...and they nearly placed themselves at the top! I'm going to take it sloooooow on the home stretch. I'm getting ready for guests...and a little trip.

Tracie greeted me this morning with a photo of a rainbow fall wreath she's been working on! It looks like she has preserved the leaves....and I think it's Fan-Fall-Tastic!

My latest tag was sitting on the puzzle table....and the gold splatters were glowing under my puzzle light....something you might not have noticed in the last post.

The gold was my "flow" from the Angelina Fibers on the last tag....and I do love that its dots upon dots.

We've got nice color in the neighborhood....Fan-Fall-Tastic!

  1. I do the same thing when the completion of a puzzle is near - separate and organize by shape. (Makes my husband kinda crazy if we're both working on it. 😂) That is a lovely puzzle. Understandable why you've posted about it more than once. Enjoy it to the last piece!

    1. Thanks Kelly! It's always good to hear from another puzzler! I usually only do this at the end too...but I sorted this one by color and shape from the very start!

  2. What a lovely puzzle--I enjoy your photos as you complete each section;))) this looks really like a LARGE one--nice work--I also separate my pieces by color as much as is feasible...;)))
I am working on a C. Wysocki Winter one this week (19.4 x 26)--lots of fun...while my hands recoup from too much hand quilting and embroidery...

  3. It's all fan-fun-tastic, MaryAnn!! This season, with its beautiful foliage and recent brilliant days is such a joy!! So fun to see your progress on this lovely puzzle, as I watch, in person, Bill's progress on his latest Book Nook - an elegant ice cream parlor!
