The despair I feel about the world would ruin me if I did not know how to find light. Whatever is happening in the world, whatever is happening in our personal lives, we can find light. Mary Phifer
Happy summer solstice!
At the beginning of this longest day of light....Paul and I checked out the sidewalk wildflower garden...and it was bursting with color.
Paul had been keeping an eye on it while on his bike....and knew it was time to go back. He was right.
I didn't realize I dressed to match the occasion. My bright pink top matched the sweet William catchfly perfectly....and it's hard to tell...but my sneakers are light blue.
Paul snuck this one while he waited.
He's good about waiting.
Happy summer everyone!

Love the flowers today
ReplyDeleteOh thank you Louise! It certainly was a splash of color!
DeleteI was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were doing. I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Your blog is a light for me. I love your photos, your thoughts, your art, your puzzles and found objects……balm for my soul. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how much this means to me Cherie. Looking for joy and celebrating little things each day gives me focus and brightens and lightens my day....and I'm so glad my "joyful puttering" and ramblings is a light for others too. Thank you so much for reaching out! Have a great weekend!
DeleteSuch beautiful flowers! Happy Summer, MaryAnn!!
