Today was one of those days when the the sun was warm...but the air felt like fall...all day long. I enjoyed wearing a sweatshirt on my morning walk.....and again this evening. Even socks and shoes felt good.
I know there are plenty of summer days ahead....but I will admit I like these fall teasers.
And I know the summer is winding down when my turtlehead starts to poke its head out. I love this late summer bloom.
There are still a few blooms on the meadow rue.....and I'm letting it all go to seed hoping I get some volunteers here and there next year.
I do love these fall teaser days.
