The Sun and the Moon

I found this little nugget of joy this morning in the lawn....

it was like a little pop of sunshine. And it would have been OK if this was the only gift of the day.

Then we got an invitation to join Janice and Jay for a late afternoon/evening sail on Casco Bay.

             Captain Jay!

The evening was perfect....warm enough....and cool enough....with just enough wind to get us where we wanted to go.

The sun was a bright orange ball in the sky....there was no way my iPhone could capture it.  It was incredible.

Then just as were were pulling back into the mooring....the full moon rose.....bright and orange. It was like it was scripted.  

A perfect evening with the Halletts.....with the sun and the moon....ending with  a fire in their backyard.

Feeling blessed.
