"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

ThisThat and Seaweed

I came home with a handful of seaweed yesterday. Stay tuned to know why. Today was a this and that day. I had a swim and a walk...went to the farmers market and had a nice visit with Patty.

I've been meaning to share this photo of a clump of grapes glowing in the sun in in Jane's backyard. I think it pairs well with the seaweed photo.

And visiting Patty means I got to get a closeup look at her late summer rosy pink hydrangea.

  1. that salty seaweed, those glorious grapes, the soft pink hydrangea. what a wonderful shoulder-relaxing deep-breathing festival of summer at the 2/3 mark! thank you, MaryAnn!
