Sunflower Wedding

I spent the morning helping Jane and her family get flowers ready for her daughter Kate's beach/backyard wedding. The remnants of Hurricane Dorian are heading up the coast overnight into the morning....but we've got our fingers crossed for calm after the storm for the afternoon festivities.

The beach was picture perfect today!

The theme of the big day is sunflowers! Jane planted a nice variety in her garden that will perfectly set the stage for the celebration.

One tent in Jane and Andy's yard...one in the neighbor's yard.

Because of the storm....the flowers are safely tucked away in the back shed until tomorrow.

My favorite flower in Jane's garden was this sweet thing which 

opens into a fuzzy little mop not much bigger than this.
