Little Landscapes

I've been in a home and garden mode lately but did take some time for a little watercolor experiment a few days ago.  I was playing with analogous color combos and think they ended up looking like little landscapes....or maybe more like skyscapes....is that a word?

Every year Pilgrim UCC in Lexington hosts a "Pumpkin Patch" as a fundraiser....it's always a sight to behold! 

I picked up a pumpkin for a little pop of color by the front door.  You might notice that we have a shiny new copper gutter along the front of our house...it's pretty bright right now but will age nicely over time. I'm just thinking of it as another pop of color!

And what's not love love about a brilliant red leaf! You gotta' October!
