Tracie shared the last of her 100 day watercolor project with me this morning. It's a sweet trio of tiny purple blooms that she says took her "back to her roots." I can't wait to browse through her 100 watercolors next time I visit. Congratulations Tracie!
This "Splash of Purple" post describes the significance of the color purple for Tracie.

I love the purple peppers in this window box!
And there's just something about purple kale this time of year that's such a nice balance to all the oranges, yellows, and reds.
The same source referenced above listed words that represent different shades, tints, and values of the color purple:
violet, plum, lavender, lilac, puce, thistle, orchid, mauve, magenta, royal, amethyst, wine, pomegranate, eggplant, mulberry, and plum.
