So true! We get to choose what is beautiful....and we can find it as often as we take the time to look for it.
I snipped this amazingly beautiful leaf from my garden this morning. It came from a plant I moved from Lexington....I believe it's in the coralbell family.
It has lovely ruffled green leaves with purply red undersides....and for some reason this one leaf turned bright red.
It's there in the top right corner.....and is a nice balance to the purple coral bell.
