"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Blast From The Past

As I mentioned before, I am in the middle of reorganizing my craft spaces and I am uncovering lots of fun stuff I'm anxious to play with. It's kind of like an archeological dig. One of the things I came across was a box of artwork from a long time ago....kind of funny....but also kind of fun.

I did this little watercolor painting thinking of my two boys, Nate and Sam (they are 26 and almost 30 now)...based on this Norman Rockwell cutout from a magazine....yes I kept the cutout.

And this Holly Hobby painting that I took straight from this little ABC book.  I actually have a modest collection of ABC books...so I will add this one to the bunch.
