"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Art Date

Look who came to play with us today!  Eliza and Oliver...and of course their parents Barbara and Kate spent a chunk of the day with us.

After brunch and a visit to the pond, Paul took Oliver, Kate, and Barbara to Presumpscot Falls and Eliza and I had an art date.

Eliza and I have become art buddies....and we just finished a shared art journal project this last summer.  She and I will continue trading art projects throughout the winter.
We did some leaf printing on the gelli plate....

....and a little watercoloring with tape resist.

Paul and Barbara were colleagues at Hancock Church and now she is the new Senior Minister. Oliver was a real trouper walking to the falls.

I enjoyed having kids in the house playing with all my toys...and Eliza and Oliver were just a delight!
