"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Coastal Outing

The weather was glorious for an afternoon visit to the Coast with Margie and Clarke.  We took our lunch to Bug Light Park, indulged in doughnuts from the Cookie Jar, and soaked in the sun and view at Kettle Cove.  It was a fabulous outing.

Clarke has been working on a knitted sweater for Margie while she's been here.

She has little more to go but shared it with Margie today and will finish it tonight and deliver it tomorrow before she heads back home to Memphis.  It's just beautiful!
And there were a few bonus items for the day....Paul found this little guy at Kettle Cove.

And Clarke and I came across this single honeysuckle bloom on our evening walk. I have always loved these little firecrackers....and this one was a welcome pop of color.
