"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

ASAP

Paul and I had a good long walk this morning before the rain....and I followed the winter sun through the thickening clouds.

I took a breath and slowed down just a bit today. ASAP felt good on this mostly rainy day.

Tiny Little Buddha

I did spend some time on a repurposing project I've been working on for Max...who will be 2 at the end of this month.

I'm keeping the project kind of quiet for now...but it involves a tattered Richard Scarry book I found at a thrift store...and a LOT of fussy cutting.

and OMG! Can't wait to see Max's book once it's complete. He will LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Soak your hands in Epsom salts tonight, MaryAnn. Those thumbs need some TLC ❤️

    1. I liked it too! There aren't many things that need to be as soon as possible.

Thanks for the interest in my little book project. I've been doing that fussy cutting over several weeks...so my hands and thumbs are doing OK. I'm do my stretches and ice after I do a lot of cutting. I have come to learn that I have to take care of my hands....and I try to honor that.

  2. I like the ASAP very much.
Can’t wait to see the completed book. Won’t Max and his family be just tickled! You must have had that book for a good while. 😉

    1. Yes! This take on ASAP is just right!

I've had a lot of fun with the project. It probably won't be as good as it is in my head, but it will be a gift of love from my heart. I actually found the book at a thrift store. I don't think I could bare to cut up one from my kids childhood.
