I crawled into bed last night with a book and chapter 7 started like this:
He was standing on a ladder, hijacked by happiness, tapping nails into a frame he's built for the perfect pane of glass, snapped up at Marden's for a song. He'd barked with glee when he found it: discounted surplus, tempered, tinted blue eighteen inches square. With luck it would slide right in. Monica Wood, How to Read a Book
The setting of the book is in and around Portland, ME so yes...that's the same Marden's where I've been shopping. Needless to say it felt like that crafty little joy creature sneaking in an unexpected time and place.
And then there it was again this morning while walking back from a visiting Bessie....the hackmatack tree. I wanted to bark with glee as I soaked in the beautiful sky.
It's easy to catch the predawn sky at the beginning of daylight savings time.
A closeup of Bessie....don't you just love all those tiny pinecones.
Well, if that isn't synchronicity at its most wonderful, I don't know what is. ♥️
