Nailed it!

Sam turned 29 a few days ago....and tonight we had a little party! He couldn't decide between a regular cake and a cheesecake....so he got both.  

I found a recipe on Pinterest for a "lemon blueberry cheesecake layer cake".....and decided to give it a whirl.  It was delicious....light and summery....and downright decadent all at the same time.

Have you seen those side by side pictures called "nailed it" where they compare something home made to the inspiration picture?  Some are hilarious.  Here's my version.

It was actually wasn't that bad in person.   



It was so nice to have Margie here for the first of many holiday and birthday celebrations to come!
