"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Frozen Midwest

Here are a few more photos from the frozen midwest.

Becky and her husband put their Christmas tree out on their deck to enjoy the rest of the winter.  It was just lovely this evening under a layer of fresh new snow.

I am getting out of Madison just in time... starting tomorrow temperatures are going to plummet and by Wednesday wind chills could reach 50 below.

Here are a few lovely photos of a lovely sunrise from my sister LaVonn's front porch a few days ago.

And finally.....my siblings.  Once there were nine...now there are six.
MaryAnn, Angie, Nancy, Marilyn, Doug, and LaVonn
We miss you Rich, Becky and Ed.

The nine of us plus cousin Cindy.
