"I do believe in an everyday sort of magic...the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." Charles de Lint

Caked in Ice

We’re caked in ice here in coastal Maine…it’s wild out there! No power or internet…but we’re fine. Posting this from my phone… then turning it off.

  1. WOW. We had rain all day yesterday, and I know Bethel, where my folks used to live, got 24" of snow at Sunday River, and now I see that you, halfway between the two locations, got caked in ice. All best wishes that you will be warm, safe, and back to 'normal' very soon, MaryAnn.

    1. At my mother-in-laws to warm up and catch up and charge up a bit. She has power...but we still don't. These extreme are concerning. I'm hopeful we're back to normal soon.
